preaching was excellent. Will Beauchamp, Tim Owen, Steve Berry and Larry Clyatt did an excellent job in presenting the theme of "Lift Him Up." James Forlines challenged
us with our responsibility as he concluded the meeting with the annual Missions Service. The music throughout the meeting was great with enough variety to satisfy most
every one.The FWAC meetings went very well as did the Youth Conference of our meeting.
In business, along with adopting the reports from the various boards, offices and committees, we made 3 changes to our Constitution and By-Laws. One change included
an article that we were to be affiliated with the National Association of Free Will Baptists and stipulated the process of selecting a General Board member. (Hard to figure
why that was never in there before.) Another change dissolved the Historical Commission of the State Association and a third change put the promotion and administration
of the Mission Shares Plan back in the hands of the Mission Board. The Mission Shares Committee was then dissolved.
Those who could not attend missed a great blessing! Make plans to attend next year's meeting with Dr. H. B. London from Focus on the Family as the speaker. The theme
for the meeting will be "Encouragement for the Heart."
